Victorian Epergne

Wonderful Epergne, center piece in Sheffield plate and marked, circa 1850 by Waterhouse, Hatfield & Co. Features a central triangular lobed standard decorated with elaborate acanthus leaves, roses & large grape cluster knop,
raised on a waisted conforming stand with 3 acanthus scroll feet. Supported
in a wirework basket with ovolo banding the knop supporting 3 acanthus arms
each in a milled laurel banded basket, fitted with cut glass bowls which
appear to be original. Height 24", diameter 19 1/2". Fill with fruit or
flowers for any dining occasion.
